Scores of SPLA supporters were arrested in the Sudanese capital Khartoum while demonstrating against the recent amendment to the 2011 referendum in the South. The South is now accusing president Omar el Bashirs administration of attempting to rig the referendum by allowing people from the North to vote. The vote is set to determine whether or not the South will remain in the unity government.
