A stroll through Lismore

Lismore a city of 30,000 people (ABS 2006) I thought I would find some more interesting buildings and civic spaces however that was more than made up for by the very relaxed pace and nature of the place including its location on the Wilson River and nestled amongst some stunning countryside.

There is some major work going on in the main street at the moment to completely revamp it with lots of rainforest type trees and pedestrian friendly spaces and calming the traffic down.
