German carmaker Mercedes Benz announced today it managed to end the last month of 2009 with an impressive 97,700 units sold in December, no less than 12 percent more than in December 2008. This pretty much makes Mercedes the premium brand with the strongest growth in the world. For the entire year, Mercedes Benz sold 1,012,300 vehicles, down 9.7 percent from 2008 levels.
