Yvonne’s work has received national acclaim. In competition with stations across America, she won a Gabriel Award for humanitarian stories; was nominated for several Mid-Atlantic Emmy’s and captured the Ed King Memorial Award, a high honor for Pittsburgh journalists.
Yvonne passed away on January 8, 2010 following a courageous two-year battle with Yvonne covered the consumer beat, from battles with bureaucracy to personal finance, for over 20 years and has been a reliable source for consumer news in the market.
Raised in the South Hills and a graduate of Bethel Park High School and Bethany College in West Virginia, Yvonne worked in the Pittsburgh market for over 30 years.
