Hell, make it your home page and it’ll be that much easier for you!According to Variety, Bryce Dallas Howard has signed on for the film, her first Eastwood project. Howard was in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village (2004) and the upcoming Twilight: Eclipse out next June, and is also producing the untitled Gus Van Sant film currently in production and due out in 2011.
In addition to Howard, Matt Damon has been cast in the film for several months now. Like many directors, Eastwood has favorite actors that he will cast over and over again. Invictus’ Morgan Freeman is among them, having worked with Eastwood in Oscar-winning films Million Dollar Baby and Unforgiven. Following on the heels of Invictus, Eastwood has again cast Damon in his next film, hinting that he may have been lucky enough to earn a slot among Eastwood’s casting favorites.
Hereafter will be produced by Eastwood, Kathleen Kennedy and Robert Lorenz, and executive produced by screenwriter Morgan, Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Tim Moore. It is currently in production at Warner Brothers and is due out in theaters in December 2010.
