I really love Bangkok and I’m considering buying a home there. I was wondering if anyone knew what is to become of State Tower and whether it is a good place to buy a condo. I know there are so many new condo projects to choose from but the location and incredible views keep me interested.
From my research, it looks like the building is under bankruptcy protection because the owner needs to repay some debt. The shopping plaza is 90% empty. It does have the Lebua Hotel, some nice restaurants especially the open air restaurant on top, and it’s one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok. Does anyone know if there are plans to revitalize the building?
