In a statement from Washington on Wednesday, President Barack Obama vowed to aggressively send aid to Haiti in the wake of the devastating 7.0 earthquake that ravished the island on Tuesday.
The American Red Cross has also pledged its help. The organization will provide $1,000,000 to the relief effort and is preparing to move relief supplies to the affected areas as soon as transportation becomes possible.
