Pumps and flying

Next month I will be flying up north and I have some questions. This will be my first time flying with my pump (I have a One Touch Ping) and I would like to know some things.

1. Does flying (cabin pressurization/altitude) effect the pump?

2. Will it set off the detectors (metal or new full body scanners)?

3. What should I do if the pump cant go threw detectors?

4. Are pump supplies okay to go threw carry-on bag scanners?

5. Ever since the crazy xmas bomber, are there any new restrictions that effect pumpers?

6. Is there anything else about flying with a pump that I should know?
