I asked a question before and everyone was so wonderful in their responses. I was diagnosed Dec 20 -bs 299 and put on metaformin 500 over the phone. I went in to the dr Dec 26 and my bs was 282. She changed my med to actoplus 850mg. My blood sugar is still around 200. How long does it take to get it to 100? I have been eating good, well constantly changing to advice-but constantly avoiding the white food. The advice I got in the beginning about eating before I came here was horrible. I excercise doing Denise Austin cardio dance w/o several times a wk. Yest took a walk. I have looked at others meds and everyone seems to be on metoformin-haven’t seen anyone on actoplus.
