
Jean Paul Gaultier takes inspiration from today’s boxing ring gladiators for his Fall/Winter 2010 collection. The range mixes sport and high fashion together, and gave it a rebellious twist. It definitely reflects the attitudes of boxers with the all fight mentality, and with a collection that mixes a lot of rugged pieces such as sweat pants, shorts, tank tops, and boxing shoes, the clothes are surely battle ready for any affair. On a more elegant side, the addition of tuxes and other non sport items such as cashmere, velvet, and knits, still bring about the collection’s “fighting” appearance.
