Last year Hurst brought out their spectacular 50th Anniversary Dodge Viper to Barrett-Jackson, selling it for $275,000 to benefit their favorite charity, Victory Junction. They are back again for 2010, this time with the Mustang Convertible Pace Car that was actually used in the Mustang Challenge race series. The car was donated by Woodhouse Auto Family, Hurst Performance Vehicles and other suppliers to help children attend Victory Junction’s newest Camp for Kids in Kansas City.
The car features plenty of performance upgrades including a Roush supercharger, Eibach suspension, Magnaflow exhaust, 20-inch Hurst wheels and a custom white interior. Being an official pace car, it’s also got the cool light bar and headlights that can alternately flash. All of that combined with the motivation of charity brought a final bid of $120,000.
