“World News with Diane Sawyer” will air a special one-hour edition tonight; Wednesday, January 13th focused on the earthquake in Haiti.
George Stephanopoulos will anchor the broadcast. Good Morning America Weekend” anchor Kate Snow, “World News Sunday” anchor Dan Harris, Senior Heath and Medical Editor Richard Besser and Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz will all report from the region.
“World News Saturday” anchor David Muir will report on humanitarian efforts, Sr. Justice Dept. Correspondent Pierre Thomas will have the latest on the FBI investigation into fraudulent groups seeking aid donations. David Wright and Bianna Golodryga will also contribute reporting.
Also, Stephanopoulos will interview President Bill Clinton, UN Special Envoy for Haiti.
Diane Sawyer is en route to Haiti from Afghanistan and will anchor Thursday’s “World News” from the quake zone.
