There are several charity cars up for auction this week at Barrett-Jackson, but this custom Dodge Challenger owned by Richard Petty might just be our favorite. Built by Petty’s Garage, the Challenger is painted in legendary Petty Blue and features a 426ci Hemi V8 with 585 horsepower and 560 lb-ft torque. Other modifications include hand-fabricated body components, upgraded suspension, Brembo brakes, and a center exhaust.
As we mentioned, the all of the proceeds of the car will go to charity, and the $130,000 selling price of the car will go a long way in benefiting the Petty Family Foundation and its charities including Victory Junction and Paralyzed Veterans of America. Hit the jump for the complete vehicle description from Barrett-Jackson.
