No laughing matter: Comedian Andy Dick was arrested in Huntington, West Virginia on suspicion of sexual misconduct early Saturday morning, a Western Regional Jail spokesperson has confirmed.
Dick found fame as an actor and funny guy before a stint on VH1’s Sober House in 2009. The celeb was arrested on sexual abuse charges following an incident after his performance at a local comedy club. According to The Huntington Herald-Dispatch, Dick, 44, allegedly groped two patrons of the bar Rum Runners hours after his appearance at the comedy club Funny Bone. He was reportedly arrested around 4 AM. The Huntington Police Department confirmed the arrest and charges to The Associated Press later on Saturday.
Andy reportedly faces two first-degree felony sexual abuse charges. The former The Andy Dick Show star has a checkered past with the law; he is serving out a three-year probation following a 2008 arrest on suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery.
