A broad band of showers was moving into the Chicago area early today, with radar images showing some of the rain could be heavy.
WGN/Tribune weatherman Tom Skilling’s forecast said the chance of rain was 100 percent early today.
The rain, along with some patches of fog, could remain for most of the day, while temperatures remain nearly steady in the lower 40s.
Temperatures will drop in the afternoon into Sunday night, and some of the rain could turn to light flurries or freezing drizzle.
