Harper’s women’s basketball team hosted the number one team in the nation, Madison Area Technical College, and despite a strong effort, the Lady Hawks fell, 59-53.
Peggie Parhas led the team with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists, Noreen Davis added 14 points on 6-9 shooting), and Anna Kirchoff chipped in with 9 points.
The Lady Hawks are now 12-8 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
Next up will be a home contest against Triton College on Tuesday, January 26th with a 5:00 PM tip off.
