Hi,
I have a new Bayer breeze 2 meter. I can test in my fingertips, or an alternate site. The meter only lists the heel of the hand as an alternate.

A few times now I’ve compared fingertip to heel of hand by testing them at the same time. The meter instructions give specific instructions as to when alternative site testing is permissible, and I watch that closely, I have no reason to suspect that my BG levels are changing rapidly. The heel of my hand seems to consistently read 40 points higher. So the question is, is one site generally considered more accurate than the other?
