Victoria Beckham has been offered nearly $50 million to design a luxury hotel in Dubai, according to a new scoop from London’s The Mirror.
The tabloid claims the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer has been commissioned by Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, leader of Dubai, to create a fashion-themed ambiance for the new hotel — which will be located on Isla Moda a man-made archipelago of 300 islands constructed in the shape of a map of the landmasses of the Earth.
Victoria not yet decided whether to accept the job, but if she does, the project will find her working closely with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.
