A new NBC/WSJ poll finds that the majority, 51%, of Americans believe Barack Obama has failed to pay enough attention to the economy.
Overall his approval rating sits right at 50%, which isn’t horrible inasmuch as other recent polls have put him below below that mark.
The poll was conducted between the 23-25th, so right at the heart of what has been the worst week of Obama’s Presidency, during which he’s been attacked from all sides, prompting his handlers to grasp for longshot solutions that don’t please anyone (e.g. the spending freeze)
Meanwhile, a majority remain opposed to the healthcare plan.
