This week Toyota suspended sales of eight of its models in the U.S. on safety concerns. The list of Toyota recall models affected were:
2009-2010 RAV4
2009-2010 Corolla
2009-2010 Matrix
2005-2010 Avalon
Certain 2007-2010 Camry
2010 Highlander
2007-2010 Tundra
2008-2010 Sequoia
Today, CNN reported that the recall may include the 75,552 RAV4 sport-utility vehicles sold in China.
The recall in China is due to the same accelerator pad problem affecting the U.S. vehicles, China-based spokesman Niu Yu said Thursday. The company has not received any complaints or reports of injuries related to the flaw here, he said.
