“THIS WEEK” IS #2 SEASON-TO-DATE AMONG TOTAL VIEWERS
According to Nielsen Media Research, ABC News “This Week” on Sunday, January 24, 2010 closed the total viewing gap with NBC’s “Meet the Press” by 32% (630,000 in 2010 vs. 930,000 in 2009) versus the same week last year. Among the key Adults 25-54 demographic, ABC closed the gap with NBC by 41% (130,000 in 2010 vs. 220,000 in 2009).
Season-to-date, “This Week” is averaging 2.77 million Total Viewers, maintaining its second place rank for the season so far, outperforming CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
Guests on last Sunday’s show included White House Senior Advisor David Axelrod and Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC) and Robert Menendez (D-NJ). The round table featured George Will, Matthew Dowd, Cokie Roberts, and Sam Donaldson. ABC News’ Terry Moran guest anchored the program.
Ian Cameron is the executive producer. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
