Our client is a full service provider of end to end critical environments solutions – not only design build operate and maintain services — but implementation of best practices and energy conservation / reduction measures.
Focused on energy efficiencies long before "green" was "in", our client was recognized by (then presidential candidate) Obama as a “model” for American businesses.
Past prospective candidates tell us “it appears too good to be true” – until they are on board, and then they tell us “this is the best company I’ve ever worked for”.
Most recently, awarded a major contract to manage several mega data centers for one of the largest data center users in the world, our client needs an energy engineer with a unique combination of data center, energy efficiency and facilities savvy.
We’re looking for an energy engineer with mission critical data center experience (e.g. knows the difference between a Tier 3 and Tier 4 data center, and what kind of facility improvement measures (FIMs) to look for in a large, energy-reliant data center).
For example, below are two of the first key projects that the successful candidate for energy engineer will undertake:
1) develop an overall strategic blueprint for reducing carbon across all the global data centers, and
2) identify, prioritize and help implement opportunities for data center efficiencies. Partner with the individual data center managers to estimate costs and payback for various energy reduction strategies, including water or cooling related initiatives.
