The star of CBS’ How I Met Your Mother is in discussions to host and executive produce an American adaptation of the popular UK game show The Cube, TheWrap.com said Monday. A smash in Britain, the show places contestants in a small plastic cube to induce stress while they perform physical tasks.
Insiders close to negotiations say NPH will fly to London later this year to record a pilot for the show — which would air on CBS. The Cube is the latest hosting gig for Neil, who has already served as MC for the Emmys, the Tonys, and the TV Land Awards.
