Job Description: Electrochemist/ Research Scientist
Location: Greater Boston region
Job Description:
This new hire resulting from the Client`s growth will be responsible for designing and carrying out specific research and development activities within the Company related to the fields of materials science and electrochemistry. The scientist will be qualified to direct and manage research associates in carrying out experiments, will be comfortable working within a team, and will report directly to upper levels of management.
Responsibilities:
. Design and carry out key electrochemical experiments for development of anode, cathode, and test electrochemical cell technologies.
. Effectively work with and manage research associates to carry out a flexible and multi-faceted research plan.
. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing R&D findings for communication with upper levels of management.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science with a strong background in catalysis, inorganic chemistry and physical methods with a focus on electrochemistry. Additional experience working within and leading a team of researchers will be highly desired. Successful candidates will have outstanding written and oral communication skills.
