Just as the game prepares to hit stores next week, a new trailer (above) for Dante’s Inferno has leaked, revealing information about upcoming downloadable content plans. Destructoid reports that the “Trials of St. Lucia” pack will include both a co-op mode and content creation. The trailer mentions that users can rate both the trials and user-created stages to rank the best creators out there. In addition, the DLC will add a co-op mode to defeat enemy waves. The pack is set to come out April 29, which is a surprisingly long time to wait for modes that are already being teased.
The video may have come from an illegally obtained copy of the game, and so the trailer wasn’t expected to last long before being removed. Then again, the trailer is still up as of now, and it’s generating some publicity. The marketing team for Inferno has made some usual choices before, so maybe this is just the latest result of their guerilla efforts. Either way, the information is out there, so let us know what you think of the content.
