Mr. Hot Stuff will be ridden by Joe Talamo and is trained by Eoin Harty. The seventh at Santa Anita is scheduled for 1-¼ miles for optional $40,000 claimers for four year olds and upward. Mr. Hot Stuff is coming off a 1 1/16th mile race at Santa Anita on January 16th in the Grade 2 San Fernando Stakes. He finished 6th but posted a pretty good 90 Beyer number in that contest that saw him 3 ¾ lengths behind the winner Papa Clem. He is taking a drop in class here and against similar company posted a nice second back in November of 2009. This $200,000 purchase will have Talamo back aboard off his San Fernando Stakes effort.
