Need your advice on following two topics for my 2002 Honda City VTEC.
1. Replacement silencer (A,B,C sections). Dealer price is around Rs. 24k.
Don’t want to shell out such huge amount! Silencer is beyond repair so replacement is must.
2. Tyres that satisfy following needs
a. There should not be any need to replace, upsize/downsize the rims. Love the rims. Don’t want to replace them. Broader thread is welcome.
b. Less road noise.
c. Rated for arouind 200 kph
d. Should last next 30-40k kms
e. tubeless?
Also would like to advice all the VTEC/City owners who have faced problem with failed OXYGEN SENSOR. Don’t spent Rs. 16k at the dealer. Procure it from US. Ask your friends to get it for you. It costs around 50-60$ and Rs. 30 to fit it.So thats a saving of around Rs. 13k.
