Entertainment icon Barbra Streisand is saying “Thanks, But No Thanks” to a $100 million offer to take up a residency in Las Vegas.

Babs has allegedly been approached to follow in the footsteps of fellow divas Cher, Celine Dion, and Bette Midler by signing a three-year contract to host her own singing, dancing variety show on the Sin City Strip, PopEater’s Naughty & Nice Column on Tuesday. Streisand, 67, attracted the attention of a Vegas promoter after her 63rd LP, Love Is The Answer, stormed the Billboard charts last October.
But despite the sweet payday, the legend has no interest in taking Vegas by storm, insiders say. Instead, the veteran entertainer is preparing to wow fans with a summer 2010 tour.
A source tells PopEater.com: “After Celine Dion left Vegas, no one has been able to replace her. Bette Midler failed, Cher is trying, only Barbra is guaranteed to succeed. She’s an international star and the only performer in the world that would make people flock to Vegas year after year.”
“Money has never been a deciding factor in her career. She plans on touring again this summer instead,” the insider added.
