NY Mag recently sat down with designer Mark McNairy for an in depth interview on the recent launch of his footwear label Mark McNairy New Amsterdam. He also answers a few questions about his favorite designers, current obsessions, and even gives a little bit of fashion advice. Mcnairy, who has also done work with the likes of J. Press and Engineered Garments, exclaims that his plans for the new footwear label (Mark Mcnairy New Amsterdam) is to include brogues, boots, loafers, and bucks — but he’s also expanding into pants, shirts, and ties for spring.
