The heavy-payload, 6-axis EA1800 robot is specially designed for arc welding applications.
It is 15 percent faster and has higher allowable wrist moments than most welding robots providing an optimised welding performance.
Its internal cabling design streamlines the robot profile, improves access to welds and extends cable life. The EA1800N is also suitable for applications such as handling and dispensing.
By the expansion of the EA series with the MOTOMAN-EA1800N, a new industrial robot has been developed specifically for welding and also for activities such as handling or gluing. The application areas of the EA series are thus increased.
As with its predecessor models in the EA series, the complete media hose package is also lead through by the upper arm and the head axes of the robot which reduces obstructions and results in an expansion of the usable working range.
