Reciprocity agreements are forged when two states agree to accept one another’s policies. House Bill 9 by state Rep. Ernest Wooton, R Belle Chasse, would allow reciprocity between Louisiana and other states when a concealed handgun permit is issued to a resident of that state who is at least 21 years old — the same age requirement in Louisiana.
