Passing through the twenty year mark since the model was originally launched, Mazda organized the MX-5 Open Race to honor the roadster. The four-hour endurance competition gave drivers from most European countries the opportunity to experience the MX-5 on the race track. The event took place at the Adria International Raceway in Northeast Italy, one of Europe’s newest racing circuits.
