German-engineered Kalkhoff bicycles and e-bikes are now available on the North American market, Greenlight Bikes announced. Kalkhoff’s pedal-assist electric bicycles, also known as pedelecs or e-bikes use an electric motor to supplement the power a rider applies to the pedals, while being operated as a traditional bicycle.
