After a first successful test at Jerez on Wednesday, during which reserve driver Fairuz Fauzy completed more than 300 kilometers at the wheel of the T127, Lotus’ enthusiastic mood took a negative turn today, when their race driver Heikki Kovalainen lost control of the car and crashed it into one of the barriers of the circuit.
