On Friday, shamed golf star Tiger Woods will make his first public statement since a tabloid report and bizarre car crash unraveled a tangled web of marital infidelities that snatched headlines in late 2009. But at least one important person won’t be by Tiger’s side as he makes a mea culpa to a “small group of friends and colleagues” at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
At least one report out Thursday says Tiger’s wife, former model Elin Nordegren, will not be by Woods’ side during the highly anticipated press conference.
