Our client a global, highly regarded engineering company, is currently looking to expand their team within Wind Turbine Design.
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial and highly talented engineer who will relish the opportunity to create a flagship wind turbine.
Your responsibilities as Chief Engineer will be to:
• Work alongside Project Manager and other Chief Engineers, overseeing an experienced team of engineers to translate customer requirements into clear technical analysis and design
• Create transparent design recommendations, development recommendations, and innovative ideas/products
Design of new concept wind turbines at multi-MW ratings
The ideal candidate will know the different phases of development and design and will be skilled in reporting and analysis. Further to this you will have:
• A minimum Bachelor of Engineering, advanced degree preferred
• Extensive and relevant engineering and electrical experience
• Knowledge of Wind Turbine technology, design and development. Understanding of Wind Turbine IEC 61400-xx Standards and Certification is preferred
