CHIEF ENGINEER (Wind Energy)
Well established engineering consultancy whose name is synonymous with the highest standards.
As a business, their strategy is to embrace and develop new technologies, and as a result, they are now looking to recruit a Chief Engineer to compliment their existing team and drive strategy within the fields of Renewable Energy and Clean Technology.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of the Renewable Energy industry, preferably wind, and will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the workings, drivetrain and mechanisms of large scale Wind Turbines
The main responsibilities within the role will include;
– Defining customer target strategy.
– Defining and driving internal Research and Development activities.
– Developing technical selling materials.
– Leading the development of bids for major projects.
