Lady Gaga knows how to scare up headlines with her bizarre red carpet ensembles –- and the fashion risk taker is pretty good at scaring birds too. Inspired by the kooky getup the Grammy winner wore to the 2010 Brit Awards this month, a farmer in England has created a 7 foot tall scarecrow in Gaga’s likeness to frighten away the pesky birds that regularly feed on crops.
“We put her up last week and she’s had a remarkable effect,” farmer Nigel Britten told London’s Daily Mail Thursday. “The birds must be terrified of her because they have stayed away.”
