Two people were injured when an Illinois Department of Transportation truck was struck from behind on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Monday, Illinois State Police said.
The collision happened about 5:45 a.m. on the southbound Dan Ryan at 27th street, state police said.
Both the driver of the IDOT vehicle and the driver of the other car were injured and taken to unidentified hospitals, state police said.
