Key Responsibilities and Activities
• Specification and technical direction of Offshore Geotechnical and Geophysical Investigations
• Conceptual design of offshore anemometer masts, offshore wind turbine and platform foundations
• Selection and co-ordination of external consulting engineers
• Providing engineering input to Environmental Impact Assessments
• Assist in development of construction strategies
• Assist in development of Procurement strategies

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• Degree in Civil Engineering (a higher degree in geotechnical engineering is an advantage but not essential)
• Not less than 5 years Offshore experience from either Oil & Gas industry, offshore wind or offshore site investigation industry
• Knowledge of Geotechnical and Geophysical investigation standards for fieldworks and laboratory testing
• Familiarity with Offshore operation and Maintenance issues
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and in particular, Health and Safety issues offshore
• Travel Required Primarily UK, some International
