Subaru had a great year in the United States, as the Japanese car manufacturer managed to pull the unthinkable and sold more cars in 2009 than in 2008. Subaru of America officially announced that it has achieved an absolute sales record of 216,652 units for 2009, representing a 15% year-to-year increase over the 2008 figures. And you have to agree that this is quite an accomplishment, especially as only few automakers were able to do that.
