
According to Ferrari’s chairman Luca di Montezemolo, the Italian supercar maker wants to offer hybrid versions across its entire lineup within the next three to four years.
“This is a first step of a long project and we want within three years, maximum four, to have a hybrid Ferrari car ready for every single product of our range. This is our goal,” Montezemolo said to reporters. “In three years we aim to cut emissions by a minimum of 35 percent.”

At the 2010 Geneva Motor Show Ferrari showed its new 599 GTB HY-KERS Concept, a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano equipped with an advanced hybrid transmission. The concept consists of a high-voltage lithium-ion powered electric-motor mated to the rear of the dual-clutch 7-speed F1 transmission.
