Club TomKat may soon welcome two new members: Trouble-prone singer Amy Winehouse is considering embracing Scientology after learning that her ex-husband, best known as “Blake Incarcerated,” is planning to do so after wrapping his latest stint in rehab.
Blake Fiellder-Civil — who recently reunited with Amy after a messy divorce last summer — has been obsessively reading materials on the religion and plans to join the controversial sect once he leaves treatment, London’s Daily Star said this week.
“As soon as Amy heard Blake was into Scientology, she wanted to find out more. She idolizes the way he thinks about life. Anything Blake says, Amy believes. It’s worrying because Amy might get brainwashed,” said a close friend. “Her dad Mitch is going to go mad because their family is Jewish and he’s really proud of their heritage. They might not be practicing Jews, but he wants to keep tradition going. Then again, he might think it’s just another flash in the pan,” the pal added.
