Several years ago, Nilfisk-ALTO innovated by launching the Ergo 3000 spray gun, living up to this strategy of focusing on user
friendliness and ergonomics.
In past years, focus has grown on more basic cleaning solutions – but still with the reduction of tiredness and ease of use
being of great importance. As time goes on, health and safety issues become more and more important.
Nilfisk-ALTO once again takes a step forward in launching the new Ergo 2000, positionning the spray gun firmly as the most
ergonomic and user friendly solution on the market.
The new design fits comfortably in the hand. There is plenty of space inside the trigger guard for big hands or for people wearing
gloves. The trigger itself is activated by the strongest fingers. In addition to these basic features, Nilfisk-ALTO has added a totally
new VarioPress regulator. This small trigger enables the adjustment of the pressure/flow with one finger – and is easily within reach of the main trigger itself.
The Ergo 2000 gun is also very easy to service, replacement of wear parts being done simply and quickly on the field.
Ergo 2000 is also equipped with a SoftGrip rubber treatment around the trigger guard to reduce vibrations and ensure
additional user comfort.
And the Ergo 2000 includes the standard quick bayonet coupling system for an easy change over of accessories – reducing accessory change over time by more than 50%.
But by far the greatest achievement on the new spray gun is the significant reduction in activation and holding forces. Activation
force is the power required to pull the trigger each time you wish to work. Holding force is the power required to keep the trigger
open and is critical in long term use. The higher the forces, the more tired the user will become – and the more risk there is of
strain and injury due to repeated or long term use.
This development clearly places the Ergo 2000 as one of the most user friendly spray gun on the market.
