Sen. Bob Corker (R., Tenn.) said he was very disappointed talks have broken off with Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd (D., Conn.) and blamed health care and White House politics for the problem.
“I think Republicans want to see a good financial reform bill. I think Democrats want to see a financial reform bill. If we cannot do this in a bipartisan way, and I still have hope that we will, we cant do anything anymore in the United States Senate.”
