The title of America’s Sweetheart belongs to Betty White — and boy is she in demand: the former “Golden Girl” just snatched up a guest star on the ABC sitcom The Middle — which stars Atticus Shaffer, Patricia Heaton, Chris Kattan, Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott, and Eden Sher.
White, 88, will play a stern school librarian on the season finale airing in May. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the comedy legend will host Saturday Night Live on May 8.
