With Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg freed of their burdensome purchase of their troubled countrymen, they were undoubtedly excited to focus on the debut of their latest and greatest, the Agera. Built to celebrate the esteemed company’s 15th anniversary, the Agera was presented as the ultimate track and street machine. The CC-inspired supercar also boasts adjustable ABS, custom Michelin rubber, and some of the biggest ceramic brakes we have ever laid eyes on. While it’s hard to define one feature in particular that’s astounding about the car (without elaborating on them all), we are enamored with Koenigsegg’s so-called “Ghost Lighting,” which consists of microscopic carbon nanotubes to hide the lighting until it’s turned on; once functioning, the lights appear to be shining through solid aluminum. The Agera will be tested exhaustively for the rest of the year, ultimately going on sale at the end of 2010.
