Our leading client has an in-house offshore wind department that is going through considerable expansion due to current market demands and they require a department head to drive the offshore wind structures division.
Responsibilities:
To manage an existing offshore wind team based in London (17 staff)
Control and manage the UK offshore wind budget and resource hours
Develop new and existing client relationships and bring on board new projects
Drive the business unit and expand staff levels to approx 40 staff within 2 years
Manage all marketing and sales within the UK
Manage the delivery and quality of projects
Desired Skills/Experience: Excellent management and communication skills
A background in offshore oil & gas and min 2 years offshore Wind experience
Good business development skills
Required Qualifications: 10 years + in offshore Oil & Gas, min 2 years in offshore Wind
Desired Qualifications: A background in Civil / Structural Engineering would be Advantageous but not essential
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Maximum Experience: 10 years
