Miley Cyrus is ready to move on from her on-screen alter ego: The fourth and final season of Hannah Montana will begin airing in July, The Disney Channel said Wednesday.
At almost 18, Miley recently confessed to outgrowing her role as a teenager who juggles life as a schoolgirl by day with her secret profession as an international pop star.
The final season will be titled Hannah Montana Forever, and will find Miley Stewart questioning whether she can continue with her double life as singing sensation Hannah Montana. Disney promises a farewell season filled with surprises and guest appearances by singer Sheryl Crow and actor Ray Liotta.
The final episode of Hannah Montana will air next spring. Miley hopes to turn her focus to more serious acting once she puts Hannah to bed. Miley stars in the new romantic drama The Last Song, opening April 2.
