Santa Anita Race Track Tokyo City Cup Handicap Horse Racing Free Pick Saturday 3-27

Our play on Saturday will come from the Tokyo City Cup Handicap to be run at Santa Anita. The Tokyo City Cup Handicap is a Grade 3 race and is scheduled to be run at 1 ½ mile on the Santa Anita main synthetic surface and it’s for four year olds and upward. With our free pick we will play on #3 Unusual Suspect to win. The Tokyo City Cup Handicap is scheduled to be run as the 8th race on the Santa Anita card with a 7:08PM Eastern Time post and you can watch it on TVG.

Unusual Suspect will be ridden by Alfonso Quinonez and is trained by Barry Abrams. This six year old is coming off a Grade 2 5th place finish but he posted a nice 105 Brisnet speed rating in his 1 ½ mile on the turf back on March 20th. This is a field of many under performers and Unusual Suspect has a good a chance of hitting the winner’s circle as any one of these in this field. He does have a win at this distance and synthetic surface back in a non graded $150,000 stake back in August of last year at Del Mar.

Play #3 Unusual Suspect to win Race 8 at Santa Anita 12-1 on the Morning Line

Post Time at 7:08PM Eastern Time televised by TVG
